This field is recognized as the oldest medical specialty in the U.S. Otorhinolaryngologists can diagnose and treat difficulty swallowing, hearing loss, sinus, larynx conditions, and many other disease processes. Many Otorhinolaryngologists receive further training in reconstructive surgery due to the delicate areas of the face, neck and head under their area of practice expertise.
