Dr. Michelle L Thomas prides herself in being a “Triple Gator” – having received her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Doctorate of Dental Medicine, and Pediatric Specialty training all from the University of Florida. Dr. Thomas served as chief resident at the University of Florida and has received several awards both nationally and locally – including the Resident Recognition Award from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Todd Foege Leadership and Health Advocacy Award from the University of Florida. Her specialty training included time at the NCEF Pediatric Dental Center and Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, FL, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL, and at UF Shands in Gainesville, FL. Before moving to the panhandle, Dr. Thomas practiced pediatric dentistry in Jacksonville and Naples, FL. She is so excited to now call the beautiful Emerald Coast her home.

Dr. Thomas has always been passionate about serving the community. She has worked on countless service projects including creating a Girl Scout dental patch program, volunteering with Surfers for Autism, serving as a volunteer pediatric dentist at various events across Florida, and serving children internationally as a guest faculty member with the University of Florida Andros mission trip.

Dr. Thomas is a proud member of the American and Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Associations as well as the University of Florida Pedo Gators. Dr. Thomas’s goal is to help your child have a fun, positive dental experience in hopes of inspiring a comfortable relationship with dentistry that will last a lifetime.

In her free time, Dr. Thomas loves to go to the beach, sail, paddleboard, and, of course, cheer on the Florida Gators.
